Positively Charged Silica
Positively charged silica is designed to impart a positive charge during triboelectric charging, making it suitable for use in positive toners. It is uniformly distributed on the toner surface, helping to maintain consistent charge levels.
It is also effective in preventing wrong sign charge issues in negatively charged toners, suppressing background issue and contributing to reduced toner consumption.
Being silica based, it offers excellent dispersibility and environmental stability, and is compatible with a wide range of printer conditions. With various particle sizes and surface treatments available, it allows for flexible charge control and easy formulation optimization.
