Large Particle Silica
Large particle silica acts as a spacer in external toner additives, enhancing the thermal stability of the toner and protecting fine-particle silica. As a result, it improves the separability of the toner, thereby enhancing its flowability and dispersibility. The large particles adhere stably to the toner surface, preventing the burial of small-particle silica and contributing to reduced toner scattering and improved transfer efficiency, which helps maintain uniform print quality. In particular, it contributes to stable charge control, ensuring consistent printing performance even under HH or LL environmental conditions during long-term use. Large particle silica also offers excellent heat resistance and abrasion resistance, making it advantageous for maintaining the long term performance of color toners and small particle toners used in low temperature fusing. In addition, surface modification allows for customized application according to customer formulations, and various particle size options are available.
